Songwriting

Dana Dunham has always been drawn to songwriting, whether it be by herself or with others. In recent years, Dana has been writing more songs than ever, and has been prompted to put the songs she writes in one place, where they can be discovered by those who need them.

Violin Shop

Fragile (Demo)

Lyrics

Verse 1
She wasn’t fragile like a flower
She was fragile like a bomb
The frightening thing about it
Was always wondering where things went wrong

He wasn’t strong like a mountain
He was strong like the sea
He could pull you in with one look
He could make it hard to breathe

Pre-Chorus
But together they were two halves of a whole
Unstoppable against the world that wanted control

Chorus
And their love would only start to grow
When they met outside in that November cold
The world around them dark
But their love burned bright
Nothing could feel so right

Verse 2
She became his source of strength
He became her source of calm
In a world that often tests them
In a world that means them harm

Pre-Chorus
But together they were two halves of a whole
Unstoppable against the world that wanted control

Chorus
And their love would only start to grow
When they met outside in that November cold
The world around them dark
But their love burned bright
Nothing could feel so right

Instrumental

Pre-Chorus
But together they were two halves of a whole
Unstoppable against the world that wanted control

Verse 3 / Bridge
She wasn’t fragile like flower
He wasn’t strong like a mountain
But their love was everlasting
Two halves that were meant to be
