Dana Dunham is an emerging singer/songwriter from Brisbane, ready to take the music world by storm.

Performing for over ten years, she brings a new take to popular genres through strong song-writing and powerful vocals, setting her up for a successful career. Dana Dunham prides herself on a unique sound, blending the storytelling of classic country and folk songs with her distinctive genre of music. Incorporating the multi-layer harmonies usually found in girl groups, Dana creates a sensational sound you won’t easily forget!

After taking a break from music for a few years while struggling with health issues, and being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, Dana is back with a vengeance and using her chronic conditions as a way to breathe new life into her songs and performances. Writing about life experiences, family, friends, and her illnesses, Dana pulls on inspiration from a diverse pool of sources, making every song something to be listened to again and again.

With versatile vocal skills, Dana sets up for many opportunities for multi-genre performances. Taking inspiration from powerful female vocalists such as Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Missy Higgins and Paramore's Hayley Williams, and talented songwriters like The Civil Wars, He Is We, Ed Sheeran and Regina Spektor, Dana is constantly refining her skills in order to improve and continuously progress her career.

During the process of her upcoming EP, Dana has been collaborating with up and coming talents from all aspects of the creative industries, making connections with fellow students at QUT, where she is completing her Bachelor of Music. With an upcoming music video to be released in conjunction with her debut single being released later this year; she collaborated with talented film students to create a work of art she will cherish for years to come.

Always writing new songs, spending hours in the studio, and collaborating with other artists, Dana looks forward to the years to come and putting new music out into the world.
